IEEE Distinguished Lecture: Menapaki Evolusi Teknologi Semikonduktor Menuju Gate-All-Around CMOS
The Department of Electrical Engineering, Hasanuddin University, in collaboration with IEEE, Stanford University, FORTE, IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CAS), and DIKTISAINTEK Berdampak, proudly presents an IEEE Distinguished Lecture as part of the Semiconductor Lecture Series.
This distinguished event will feature Dr. Alvin Loke, Senior Principal Engineer at Intel and Stanford University alumnus, who will share his expertise on the evolution of semiconductor technology in his lecture entitled:
"The Road to Gate-All-Around CMOS"
The lecture will explore the remarkable journey of transistor technology—from conventional planar MOSFETs to fully depleted FinFETs, culminating in the latest 2 nm Gate-All-Around (GAA) CMOS technology now entering high-volume manufacturing. Participants will gain valuable insights into the technological breakthroughs, fabrication processes, design challenges, and future directions shaping next-generation semiconductor devices.
The event will open with a welcoming address by Prof. Dr. Ir. Jamaluddin Jompa, M.Sc., Rector of Hasanuddin University, and will be chaired by Prof. Dr. Ing. Faizal A. Samman, Head of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Hasanuddin University.
