Department of Environmental Engineering, Hasanuddin University Holds 2022 Annual Work Meeting
Makassar – The Department of Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University (FT-UH), held its Annual Work Meeting on December 3–4, 2022, at Four Points by Sheraton Makassar. The meeting brought together the department's leadership, faculty members, and administrative staff to evaluate the achievements of the past year and formulate strategic plans for the department's future development.
Over the course of the two-day meeting, participants discussed a wide range of strategic issues related to the implementation of the university's Tri Dharma (education, research, and community service). The agenda included the evaluation of academic activities, research and community engagement programs, strengthening departmental governance, and preparing work programs for the upcoming year. Suggestions and ideas from all participants played an important role in shaping strategies aimed at improving academic services and institutional performance.
The work meeting also served as a platform to strengthen coordination and collaboration among members of the Department of Environmental Engineering in addressing the evolving challenges of higher education. Through constructive discussions, each division presented its achievements, identified challenges, and established priorities and performance targets for the next period.
The Department expects that the outcomes of this work meeting will contribute to more effective governance, continuous improvement in academic quality, stronger collaboration among stakeholders, and innovative initiatives that support the department's vision of becoming a leading institution in environmental engineering education.
