Environmental Engineering Student Wins Four Medals at Jakarta Open 2026
An Environmental Engineering student of the Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University, Syarifah Atikah Salsabillah SA, has achieved another remarkable accomplishment by winning four medals at the Jakarta Open 2026, held from 13–15 July 2026 at the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Aquatic Stadium, Senayan, Central Jakarta.
Competing in the senior women's category, Atikah earned an impressive medal haul consisting of:
- 🥈 Silver Medal – Women's 200 m Backstroke
- 🥉 Bronze Medal – Women's 100 m Backstroke
- 🥉 Bronze Medal – Women's 50 m Backstroke
- 🥉 Bronze Medal – Women's 200 m Individual Medley
This outstanding achievement reflects her dedication, discipline, and perseverance in balancing academic responsibilities with athletic excellence. Her success demonstrates that Hasanuddin University students can excel not only in academics but also in national-level sporting competitions.
