Environmental Engineering Department of Hasanuddin University Earns Multiple Achievements at the 66th Anniversary of the Faculty of Engineering

Gowa, 29th August 2026 — The 66th Anniversary of the Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University marked a proud moment for the Environmental Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University. As part of the anniversary celebrations, the department received several awards and achieved outstanding results across academic and non-academic categories.

At the 66th Anniversary celebration of the Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University, the Environmental Engineering Department secured Second Place in the Men's Volleyball Competition and received four additional awards recognizing achievements at the departmental, faculty member, and administrative staff levels. The four awards comprised Most Environmentally Friendly Department, Outstanding Lecturer, Outstanding Administrative Staff, and Best Department Based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Second Place in the Men's Volleyball Competition

One of the achievements secured by the Environmental Engineering Department was Second Place in the Men's Volleyball Competition, which was held as part of the series of activities commemorating the 66th Anniversary of the Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University.

Four Awards Recognizing Departmental and Individual Achievements

1. Most Environmentally Friendly Department

The Most Environmentally Friendly Department award represents an achievement that aligns closely with the identity and academic field of Environmental Engineering. 2. Outstanding Lecturer – Dr.Eng. Ir. Muralia Hustim, S.T., M.T., IPM., AER.

The Outstanding Lecturer award was presented to Dr.Eng. Ir. Muralia Hustim, S.T., M.T., IPM., AER. The recognition reflects her contributions and achievements in supporting the advancement of higher education and the development of the Environmental Engineering Department and the Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University.

3. Outstanding Administrative Staff – Sumiati Andi Samayyo, S.M.

In the administrative staff category, the Outstanding Administrative Staff award was presented to Sumiati Andi Samayyo, S.M. The recognition acknowledges her dedication and contribution to supporting the effective delivery of academic and administrative services within the Environmental Engineering Department.

4. Best Department Based on Key Performance Indicators

The Environmental Engineering Department was also recognized as the Best Department Based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
