MAKASSAR — The Task Force for the Accreditation of the Archaeology Undergraduate Programme at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Hasanuddin University (FIB Unhas), led directly by the Head of the Archaeology Programme, actively participated in the Mentoring Workshop on the Preparation of Programme Accreditation Documents – Batch I. This intensive event took place over two days, from Saturday to Sunday (29–30 August 2026), in Room IDEA 2 on the first floor of the Unhas Hotel & Convention.
During the event, the Archaeology Undergraduate Programme Task Force presented the draft accreditation document that had been prepared. The presentation included a review of the Self-Evaluation Form (FED) and verification of the consistency of data with the Programme Performance Report (LKPS) and the Calculation Tool. Throughout the guidance session, the team was assisted by Internal Assessors from the Unhas Institute for Quality Assurance and Educational Development (LPMPP) to map out initial findings, refine the self-evaluation analysis, and carry out cross-checks on data consistency.
This important activity was directly overseen by the leadership of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences at Unhas, namely the Dean of FIB Unhas, Prof. Dr. Andi Muhammad Akhmar, S.S., M.Hum., the Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs and Student Affairs (WD 1), Dr Ilham, S.S., M.Hum., and the Vice-Dean for Partnerships, Research, Innovation and Alumni (WD 3), Dr Wahyuddin, S.S., M.Hum., as a tangible demonstration of the faculty’s commitment to quality assurance.

In her opening address, the Head of the LPMPP at Unhas, Prof. Rini Rachmawaty, S.Kep., Ns., MN., Ph.D., emphasised the importance of commitment and attention to detail on the part of the entire support team.
"During this event, each degree programme was supported by an LPMPP internal assessor to review the draft Self-Evaluation Report (LED), verify the consistency of the data in the Degree Programme Performance Report (LKPS), and compile supporting evidence in accordance with the applicable accreditation instruments to ensure readiness for the accreditation application."

Meanwhile, the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities (FIB) at Unhas, Prof. Dr. Andi Muhammad Akhmar, S.S., M.Hum., emphasised the importance of synergy and a centralised documentation culture in order to achieve the highest level of accreditation.
"Excellent Accreditation is the result of the collective efforts of the entire academic community, which requires consistency in LKPS and LED data, as well as valid supporting evidence. Therefore, the Faculty of Humanities at Unhas is committed to establishing a well-organised, centralised and secure document management system to ensure that the entire performance record of lecturers and educational staff is properly documented. Often, our challenge lies not in a lack of achievements, but in proving them; let us work together to build a disciplined culture of documentation to uphold the integrity and quality of our institution."

Through this first phase of guidance, the Task Force Team for the FIB Unhas Archaeology Undergraduate Programme continues to follow up by revising drafts, supplementing supporting evidence, and finalising accreditation documents in accordance with the feedback provided by the internal assessment team from LPMPP Unhas.
