Environmental Engineering Earns Three Awards at the 62nd Anniversary Celebration of the Faculty of Engineering

The first achievement came from the Qur'an Recitation Competition, where Zarah Arwieny Hanami, S.T., M.T. was awarded First Place. Her excellent recitation, mastery of tajwid, and heartfelt delivery earned the highest recognition from the judges.

Another outstanding achievement was obtained in the Women's Tug of War Competition, where the Environmental Engineering team claimed Second Place. The team was represented by Sumiati Andi Samayyo, Nisha Dwi Utami, along with several female students from the Environmental Engineering Undergraduate Program. Their teamwork, determination, and strong spirit of collaboration played a significant role in securing the award.

The Environmental Engineering Undergraduate Program also earned First Place in the Cooking Competition. The winning team, consisting of Ruslan, Sumiati Andi Samayyo, and Dr. Roslinda Ibrahim, S.P., M.T., impressed the judges with their creativity, culinary skills, and outstanding presentation, ultimately achieving the highest score in the competition.

These accomplishments reflect the strong sense of teamwork, solidarity, and active participation demonstrated by the lecturers, administrative staff, and students of the Environmental Engineering Undergraduate Program. Beyond showcasing talent and creativity, the anniversary competitions also served as an opportunity to strengthen relationships among members of the Faculty of Engineering community.

The achievements gained during the 62nd Anniversary Celebration of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Hasanuddin are expected to inspire the entire academic community of the Environmental Engineering Undergraduate Program to continue striving for excellence, fostering collaboration, and making meaningful contributions in both academic and extracurricular activities.
