Environmental Engineering Student of Hasanuddin University Crowned Winner of the 2026 East Luwu Tourism Ambassador Competition

A student from the Undergraduate Program in Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University, has achieved another remarkable accomplishment. Nurul Qisthi Arifuddin (D131221015) was crowned Winner of the 2026 East Luwu Tourism Ambassador Competition, a prestigious event aimed at selecting young ambassadors to promote the region's tourism, culture, and local potential.
The competition brought together outstanding finalists who were evaluated not only on their appearance but also on their knowledge of tourism and local culture, communication skills, leadership qualities, and commitment to community development. Through a series of rigorous selection stages, Nurul demonstrated exceptional competence and was ultimately awarded first place.
As the 2026 East Luwu Tourism Ambassador, Qisthi will serve as a representative in promoting the region's tourism destinations, cultural heritage, and local potential while inspiring young people to contribute positively to regional development.
