Parents’ Meeting and Integrity Pact Signing for New Students of 2026

The Department of Mining Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University, welcomed the new students for the 2026 academic year through a Meeting of Students and Parents/Guardians with the Department/Study Program Leadership and Lecturers, as well as the Signing of the Integrity Pact by students witnessed by their parents/guardians. The activities were held at the Classroom Building of the Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University.

The activity began with a meeting with the parents/guardians of the new students. During the session, Dr. Eng. Rini Novrianti Sutardjo Tui, S.T., M.T., M.B.A., Secretary of the Department of Mining Engineering, delivered a presentation on the Department of Mining Engineering. The presentation introduced the department's profile, along with the staff working within the department. The session provided parents and guardians with an opportunity to become more familiar with the academic environment of the Department of Mining Engineering.

At the same time, the new students participated in a session held in a separate room with Dr. Aryanti Virtanti Anas, S.T., M.T., Head of the Department of Mining Engineering, and Asta Arjunoarwan Hatta, S.T., M.T., Student Secretary. During the session, the new students received an explanation of the procedures for completing the Integrity Pact. After completing the Integrity Pact, the students were asked to obtain their parents' or guardians' signatures as a form of approval and acknowledgment of the signed pact.

Following the Integrity Pact signing session, the new students continued with an introduction to the use of SIKOLA, guided by their P2KMB mentors. The session aimed to introduce the new students to Hasanuddin University's online learning system and help them understand how to use SIKOLA to support their academic activities throughout their studies.

Meanwhile, after the session with the parents and guardians had concluded, they waited for the new students to complete their activities. During this time, the parents and guardians engaged in discussions with lecturers and staff of the Department of Mining Engineering. The interaction provided an opportunity for them to obtain additional information and communicate directly with representatives of the department.

The activities concluded with a tour of the Department of Mining Engineering Building, during which the new students were accompanied by their mentors. Through the tour, the new students were introduced directly to the department's environment, including various rooms and facilities that will support their academic activities throughout their studies.
