Hasanuddin University Vocational Faculty Holds Farewell and Welcome for Deans for the 2022-2026 and 2026-2030 Periods

Makassar, 2026 — The Vocational Faculty of Hasanuddin University (Unhas) officially starts a new chapter in its leadership. The position of Dean of the Vocational Faculty of Unhas is now officially held by Irfan Sugianto, drg., M.Med.Ed., Ph.D., Sp. RKG for the 2026–2030 term, replacing Prof. Dr. Ir. Muh. Restu, MP., who has completed his tenure successfully throughout the 2022–2026 period. 
This leadership transition is an important moment for the entire academic community within the Vocational Faculty, including the Applied Bachelor’s Program in Coastal and Marine Aquaculture (PS. STr. BDLP). The whole PS. STr. BDLP family also sends their congratulations and best wishes for the new dean’s inauguration, while placing high hopes that this leadership baton will bring fresh energy to strengthen a vocational education ecosystem that is adaptive, innovative, and globally competitive.
As a form of respect for the long history of the faculty, the BDLP Study Program also expresses its highest appreciation and gratitude to Prof. Dr. Ir. Muh. Restu, MP. During the 2022–2026 period, he is considered to have laid a solid institutional foundation, given his best dedication, and worked hard to steer the Vocational Faculty during the early stages of its formation. All the contributions and positive achievements made during his tenure will become a valuable legacy and a strong foundation for the future development of the study program. 
The Head of the BDLP Study Program stated that this handover moment is not just ceremonial, but a reflection and a reaffirmation of shared commitment. Under the leadership of the new dean, the program is ready to fully collaborate in aligning the faculty's strategic programs, especially in accelerating the quality of maritime vocational education. 
This leadership change is hoped to further strengthen the steps of Unhas Vocational Faculty in producing human resources who are excellent, skilled, and ready to work.
