Together with Unhas, the Selayar Regional Government Opens New Student Admissions Wave II

SELAYAR ISLANDS — Good news for the young generation of the Selayar Islands. The Selayar Islands Regency Government has reopened its second wave of New Student Admissions (PMB) through a collaborative program with Hasanuddin University, specifically for the Applied Bachelor's (S.Tr.) program at the Faculty of Vocational Studies, Selayar Campus.

This program is part of the Selayar Regional Government's commitment to improving the quality of human resources (HR) based on regional potential, especially in leading sectors such as tourism and maritime affairs.

In the financing scheme offered, students have the opportunity to obtain:

Full scholarships for decile 1–4 categories and education subsidies from the Selayar Regional Government for decile 5 and above.

The available study programs are focused on: Tourism Destinations and Marine and Coastal Cultivation.

The Regent of the Selayar Islands, Muh. Natsir Ali, emphasized that this program represents a concrete step by the local government to open wider access to higher education for Selayar's children without having to leave the region.

"This is a great opportunity for Selayar's young generation to receive a quality education with scholarship support. We want to produce superior human resources ready to develop their own region," he said.

Wave II registration is open until May 15, 2026, and the public is encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity. Prospective students can register online through the following official link:
