Information Session on New Student Admissions for the Tourism Destinations Program in Selayar

Selayar, February 18, 2025 – The Outreach Team of the Tourism Destination Department at the Faculty of Vocational Studies, Hasanuddin University, successfully conducted outreach activities for new student admissions at two high schools: SMK Negeri 4 Selayar and SMA Negeri 4 Selayar. The event took place from February 14 to 15, 2025, and aimed to introduce the Tourism Destination Program to students planning to pursue higher education.

The outreach event featured lectures, discussions, and interactive Q&A sessions. The material was presented using presentation tools and videos showcasing the profile of Hasanuddin University and the Tourism Destination Study Program. The students enthusiastically participated in the discussion forum, which allowed them to gain a deeper understanding of the world of tourism. The Head of the Outreach Team, Hijriani, S.Pd, hopes that this activity can provide useful information for the students and encourage their interest in joining the Tourism Destination Study Program. “We want these students to be aware of the opportunities available in the tourism sector and how they can contribute to this continuously growing industry,” she said.

Through this outreach activity, it is hoped that more students will be interested in continuing their education at the Vocational Faculty of Hasanuddin University, particularly in the Tourism Destination Studies Program.
