Hasanuddin University's Animal Production Technology Study Program Holds Beef Cattle Reproduction Training to Improve the Welfare of Sidrap Farmers

Sidrap, June 26, 2025 — Hasanuddin University (Unhas), through the Animal Production Technology Study Program, Faculty of Vocational Studies, reaffirmed its commitment to community service. Through the 2025 Community Partnership Program (PPMU-PK-M), they held training and dissemination of beef cattle reproductive technology for the Padaidi Livestock Group in Tanete Village, Maritengngae District, Sidrap Regency.
This activity was led by Hasrin, S.Pt., M.Si., the chief executive, and attended by livestock farmers and students. The training covered artificial insemination techniques, pregnancy management, and strategies for increasing livestock reproductive efficiency.
"We want the results of academic research to truly impact and empower the community, especially local livestock farmers," said Hasrin.
This activity is expected to increase livestock productivity and livestock incomes, while also strengthening synergy between Unhas and the community as part of the series of events commemorating the 3rd Anniversary of the Faculty of Vocational Studies.
