Informatics study program supports the success of student studies by delegating academic advisors from the teaching staff team. Academic advisors provide academic guidance to students with meetings at least twice each semester. The list of support and assistance service provided by the study programme, and the personnel or unit in charge are as follows:

The staff, usually a lecturer that help students to prepare their individual study plans and follow their developments. They provide guidance in the selection of compulsory and elective courses from the perspective of career guidance. They are study guidance personnel appointed by the chair of the study program. Students can consult with them if there are problems with study.
A lecturer chosen to provide guidance in the selection of research topics and to prepare the final project for students, and guidance in the development of thesis, data processing, and research methodology.
The lecturers facilitate the learning process that has been previously scheduled in accordance with the assignments assigned by the head of the study program.

Academic rules governing all matters relating to the life and academic environment of the university are formulated in the Rector's Decree on Academic Orders No. 1870/H4/P/2009. These comprehensive academic rules are shared with new students during the new student orientation period. Prior to the school year, an orientation week is held to introduce students to the university environment and academic culture. This activity also provides opportunities for students to interact with each other.
At the faculty level, the Faculty of Engineering has a COT (Center of Technology) which establishes strong relationships with agencies, companies, and planning bureaus. COT can help direct students who will do practical work or internships in COT-related offices or planning agencies. Students who do internships will be guided by a supervisor (lecturer) with relevant competencies. Students are also guided/guided by lecturers appointed by the Unhas Community Service Unit in community service programs.
The Language Center is one of the technical service units under the auspices of Hasanuddin University which has the main task of providing language services to the community. The Language Center provides support to students who want to study and improve their English language skills or increase their TOEFL scores which are one of the requirements for undergraduate graduation.
University Library
At the University level, Lecturers and Students can access the Unhas Central Library at Tamalanrea Campus and online access to libraries via https://library.unhas.ac.id/ . Full library services available including access to e-Journals and e-books, supported by 47 librarians.
Engineering Faculty Library
The Engineering faculty also has the library in JK-CSA Building in Gowa Campus that provides information on bachelor theses, graduate theses, and journals from students and lecturers, which can be accessed from the website https://digilib.eng.unhas.ac.id/
