Study in the Hasanuddin University Master of Public Administration Program
As part of our commitment to providing adaptive and high-quality postgraduate education services, Master of Public Administration Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Hasanuddin University offers two study tracks that prospective students can choose from according to their academic background and research interests: - Public Administration Track: This track focuses on the study of public administration, including public policy, public administration, and public management.
1. Master's Program by Course (Classes and Thesis)
Program by course is the most common regular study path at the master's level. This program consists of:

- Students attend face-to-face classes according to the applicable curriculum.
- Courses taken include advanced public administration theory, public policy, public sector management, and research methodology.
- Preparing a research proposal

2. Second year (Semesters III and IV):

- Students conduct independent research.
- Write a thesis, publish their research results in the form of scientific articles, and take a thesis exam in accordance with UNHAS academic procedures.

2. Master's Program by Research (Pure Research)
The program by research is designed for students who have a strong background in public administration and want to be directly involved in in-depth research
a. Academic Structure:

- Students do not take theoretical courses or attend face-to-face classes.
- Focus directly on research activities integrated with their supervisor's research projects.
- Guidance is provided intensively by designated *promoters* and/or *co-promoters*.
- Students are required to:
- Conduct in-depth literature reviews, - Prepare research proposals, - Collect and analyze data, - Publish reputable scientific papers, - Prepare and present theses.
