About Us
The uniqueness of the Master of Public Administration Program at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Hasanuddin University, which distinguishes it from other master's programs in public administration, lies in its emphasis on critical and analytical skills in overcoming various challenges in public policy and public management. It not only pays attention to the concepts and theories of public policy and management that have developed in the Western world, but also pays attention to the values of local wisdom that have developed in the communities where government institutions operate.

Our Mission
- Developing higher education-standard and teaching based on Indonesia's national qualification framework and labor market needs.
- Developing research activities based on the research road map of the Master of Public Administration Study Program and the Department of Public Administration.
- Developing community service activities based on research results and current issues developing in the community, and/or in accordance with the actual conditions faced by the community.
- Developing the management of the Master of Public Administration Study Program based on quality assurance.
- Developing tridharma university cooperation with various groups, both government and private, at the national and international levels.
Target Achievement Strategy
- Improving the academic quality of excellent and high-quality study programs through a balance between academic abilities (hard skills) and soft skills.
- Improving the quality and quantity of research results that are relevant and in line with the research roadmap of the department, faculty, and university.
- Increasing the publication of research results from both lecturers and students.
- Developing community service capabilities through the implementation of science in the field of Public Administration.
- Increasing the number and value of mutually beneficial and sustainable collaborations with various institutions through the role of alumni networks in enhancing academic and non-academic activities.
- Enhancing alumni collaboration, participation, and contribution to the achievement of academic programs in the implementation of the university's tridharma by establishing the widest possible network of collaborations at the local, national, and international levels.
