The Administrative Science Student Association (HUMANIS) of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Hasanuddin University (UNHAS), provides a platform for students in the Public Administration Study Program to develop their potential, creativity, and understanding of leadership. Established on 22 August 1984, HUMANIS is an independent, semi-autonomous, and non-structural student organization under the auspices of the Department of Administrative Science. It is structurally and culturally integrated into the FISIP UNHAS Student Family (KEMA).
Guided by its motto, “Triumph through Togetherness” (derived from the KEMA FISIP UNHAS motto, “Together, United, Triumphant”), HUMANIS continues to nurture capable student leaders and distinguished alumni who contribute to various sectors across Indonesia.
As an organization dedicated to cadre development, HUMANIS implements a tiered and continuous development program to nurture students who think critically, uphold ethical values, and demonstrate leadership qualities. The stages of cadre development include:

Membership in HUMANIS FISIP UNHAS is divided into three categories:
Regular Members: Students who have completed all stages of the cadre development process.
Associate Members: Students who have not participated in one or more stages of the cadre development process.
Honorary Members: Alumni of the Department of Administrative Science.
The organization’s day-to-day operations are managed by an Executive Board led by the Chairperson, supported by the General Secretary, General Treasurer, Secretariat Bureau (responsible for the organization’s internal administration), and five main departments:
Department of Cadre Development – Manages and develops the organization’s human resources.
Department of Communication and Information – Manages publications, media, and public relations.
Department of Academic Affairs and Critical Inquiry – Promotes academic development, scholarly discussions, and student research.
Department of Advocacy and Community Service – Advocates for students’ interests and organizes community service initiatives.
Department of Interests and Talents – Provides opportunities for students to develop and express their talents in the arts, sports, and creative activities.
In addition to the Executive Board, the organizational structure includes the Organizational Advisory Council (DPO), which maintains a coordinating relationship with the board and oversees the organization’s policies and activities.
