FIB Unhas Holds Website Management Evaluation and Coordination Meeting

Makassar, October 17, 2025 - The Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Hasanuddin University held an Evaluation and Coordination Meeting for Website Management of Departments / Prodi S1, S2, and S3 as part of efforts to strengthen information governance and digitalization of academic services. This activity took place in the Senate Meeting Room 2nd Floor FIB Unhas and was attended by the Vice Deans, Chairperson and Secretary of GPM-PR, Chairperson and Secretary of the Department, Head of Study Program, and website managers in the faculty.

The meeting was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Prof. Dr. Andi Muhammad Akhmar, S.S., M.Hum., who emphasized the importance of synergy between units in building information systems that are responsive, structured, and support the academic reputation of the faculty. He also underlined that the website is not only an information storefront, but also a strategic instrument in supporting accreditation, publications, and public services.

In this meeting, the Head of the Department of Archaeology was present in person and delivered a report on the development of the Department of Archaeology website. He explained a number of content updates, integration of lecturer and student data, as well as plans to strengthen visuals and site navigation to make it more user-friendly and representative of the scientific identity of archaeology.

The discussion was active, with each unit presenting technical challenges, development needs, and collaborative strategies for content and design updates. The meeting also discussed website management standards that are aligned with university policies and institutional ranking indicators.

This activity is a concrete step in strengthening digital governance within the Faculty of Humanities. Integrated, accurate, and competitive website management is an important part of quality management and sustainable academic transparency.
