Study Program Objectives
- Meet the job market's need for a creative, skilled, independent workforce with a high level of dedication to their fields of expertise.
- Master the socio-economic, cultural, political, and historical orientation of Mandarin, without losing the identity of national and regional cultures.
- Master the etiquette of Mandarin, speak academically and literary, and possess expertise, skills, and theoretical abilities in Mandarin to address socio-humanitarian issues through linguistic, literary, and cultural approaches within their own scope.
- Understand and study Mandarin literary works, possess basic skills in translating Mandarin as the source language into Indonesian as the target language, which will serve as a foundation for entering the context of other specialized fields.
- Become skilled, creative, globally aware, entrepreneurial, familiar with Computer and Information Technology (TKI), and professionally able to establish collaborative relationships with other professions.
- Able to conduct research in linguistics, literature, and cross-cultural studies.
Study Program Targets
Targets aligned with the objectives, with performance achievement indicators and annual targets during the 4-5 year curriculum period, are:
- Increasing collaboration with relevant institutions, both domestic and international.
- Students must have a Mandarin language certificate of at least HSK 4.
- Lecturers must publish in national, international, or SCOPUS-indexed journals.
- The study program has lecturers with doctoral qualifications.
