The Mandarin Language and Chinese Culture Study Program held a Mandarin Language and Chinese Culture Curriculum Evaluation Workshop using the CIPP Model on September 22nd. The event featured Sukma, S.S., M.TCSOL, a lecturer in the BMKT study program, who presented the application of the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) Model as a comprehensive curriculum evaluation approach.

The workshop aimed to enhance the academic community's understanding of data-driven curriculum evaluation, develop practical evaluation indicators, and design continuous improvement measures. Participants also identified challenges and opportunities for teaching Chinese language and culture in higher education, including digitalization of learning, integration of cultural competencies, and strengthening HSK achievement standards.

The workshop resulted in the development of a CIPP indicator framework ready for implementation, along with a follow-up plan consisting of questionnaire development, further training, and revision of the syllabus and lesson plan (RPS) to support the achievement of the excellent accreditation target.
