Indonesian Literature Department of FIB Unhas Holds Friday Clean-Up to Support Integrity Zone Assessment Toward WBK/WBBM

MAKASSAR — The Department of Indonesian Literature, Faculty of Cultural Sciences (FIB), Hasanuddin University (Unhas), held a Friday Clean-Up activity on Friday, July 3, 2026, as part of its commitment to fostering a clean, orderly, and comfortable working environment while supporting the development of the Integrity Zone toward a Corruption-Free Area (WBK) and a Clean and Service-Oriented Bureaucracy Area (WBBM).

The activity was led by the Head of the Department of Indonesian Literature, Dr. Muslimat, accompanied by the Department Secretary, Dr. Indarwati. The event was also attended by Prof. Dr. A.B. Takko, a senior professor at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, along with faculty members and administrative staff of the Department of Indonesian Literature.

The Friday Clean-Up was organized in response to the directive of the Dean of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Prof. Dr. Andi Muhammad Akhmar, S.S., M.Hum., who encouraged all academic units within the faculty to improve workplace cleanliness and organization as part of the preparation for the Integrity Zone assessment toward WBK and WBBM.

Through an official circular issued by the Dean, all departments were instructed to enhance the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall condition of their respective workspaces. The activity began at 7:30 a.m. Central Indonesia Time (WITA) and involved the active participation of the entire academic community within the Faculty of Cultural Sciences.

According to Dr. Muslimat, all faculty members and administrative personnel took part in cleaning and organizing every room within the department, including lecturers' offices, administrative offices, and academic service areas.

In addition to cleaning the premises, the activity focused on organizing archives, documents, and books located on the desks of faculty members and administrative staff. The arrangement was carried out carefully while ensuring the safety and proper management of all documents, creating a more organized, comfortable, and efficient working environment that supports high-quality academic services.
