Prof. Asriani Abbas Discusses the Evolution of Slang in the Digital Era on Unhas Speak Up

MAKASSAR — Prof. Dr. Asriani Abbas, M.Hum., Professor of Theoretical Linguistics specializing in Morphology at the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Hasanuddin University (Unhas), received a certificate of appreciation from the Unhas TV team after serving as a guest speaker on the Unhas Speak Up program.

During the program, Prof. Asriani presented the topic, "The Evolution of Slang in the Digital Era: A Reflection of Cross-Generational Linguistic Creativity," exploring the development of slang in the digital age as part of ongoing linguistic dynamics, the creativity of younger generations in language use, and the changing patterns of communication across generations.
