Become a center for education and development of statistical modeling in Indonesia

This vision means that Unhas as a leading university in eastern Indonesia can become a center for the development of statistics in theory and its application in various fields including industry, health, population, maritime affairs, economics, finance and the environment. This vision is expected to be achieved within the next 15 years. This is in accordance with FMIPA's vision and unhas development strategy 2015-2030.

1. Organizing high quality Master of Statistics education for produce statistics graduates who are faithful, creative and superior.

2. Carrying out statistical research, both theory and its application in various fields of industry, health, population and the environment.

3. Organizing community service activities to develop and utilize data from human resources, nature and the environment in order to improve community welfare.
