Graduate Profile
The graduate profile represents the roles that graduates can perform in the field of statistics expertise or professional work after completing their studies. The determination of these roles can be based on a study of labor market needs required by the government, business, and industry, as well as the needs in developing science and technology. Therefore, the expected graduate profile to be produced by the Master of Statistics Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Hasanuddin University:
Academician
Graduates who are able to develop new knowledge and technology in the field of statistics that are beneficial for the welfare of humanity, in line with maritime continental values, and who gain national and/or international recognition.
Consultant
Graduates who are able to provide advice to clients, bridge and guide the implementation of problem-solving through the field of statistics.
Researcher
Graduates who are able to develop, lead, and publish innovative and competitive research, as well as build national and/or international research networks to address statistical problems through inter-, multi-, and transdisciplinary approaches.
Quality Control Manager
Graduates who are able to oversee quality control of a production process starting from input, process, and output, and ensure quality standards through statistics.
