Vision

To establish HMGF FMIPA Unhas as a place for scientific development and a contributor to the alma mater.

Mission

1. To provide a quality learning environment to enhance the capacity of HMGF FMIPA Unhas members.
2. To promote equitable knowledge sharing among all Geophysics students.
3. To foster good interaction between the board and members of HMGF.

History

Hasanuddin University, as an educational institution that stands as one of the blessings of independence, must continue to develop its role as an essential part of the advancement of higher education. Therefore, student life within Hasanuddin University is a fundamental aspect of this development. With full awareness of our responsibility to Almighty God, we, the students of Hasanuddin University, feel obliged to preserve and uphold this independence.

Geophysics students, as part of the academic community of Hasanuddin University, recognize the importance of collective efforts in nurturing, developing, and safeguarding the intellectual growth of students in accordance with the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. Thus, we united under an organization called the Geophysics Student Association, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Hasanuddin University. Guided by the belief that organized and well-planned efforts will succeed under the guidance of Almighty God, we officially established the Geophysics Student Association of Hasanuddin University (HMGF FMIPA Unhas) on October 18, 2019.
