Vision
To become a center for education and development of statistical modeling in Indonesia
This vision implies that Unhas, as a leading university in Eastern Indonesia, can become a center for the development of statistical science in both theory and its applications across various fields, including industry, health, population studies, marine science, economics, finance, and the environment. This vision is expected to be achieved within the next 15 years. This is in line with the vision of FMIPA and the Unhas development strategic plan 2015–2030.
Mission

To conduct high-quality Master's education in Statistics to produce graduates who are faithful, creative, and excellent.

To conduct statistical research, both theoretical and applied, in various fields including industry, health, population studies, and the environment.

To carry out community service activities for the development and utilization of data from human, natural, and environmental resources in order to improve community welfare.
