Department of Statistics, FMIPA Unhas Receives Visit from BPS Statistics Corner Team

The Department of Statistics, FMIPA Universitas Hasanuddin received a visit from the BPS Statistics Corner Team on Monday, April 27, 2026. This activity was carried out in the context of monitoring and evaluating the achievement of the Statistics Corner Index for 2026.
This visit is part of an effort to strengthen the implementation of the Statistics Corner as a means of education, consultation, and improving statistical literacy within the university environment. Through the Statistics Corner, the academic community can gain access to information, consultation services, and a better understanding of statistical data and its utilization in academic and research activities.
During the activity, the BPS Statistics Corner Team together with the Department of Statistics, FMIPA Unhas held discussions regarding achievements, implementation evaluation, and the future strengthening of the Statistics Corner's role. This activity also served as a momentum to strengthen cooperation between BPS and the Department of Statistics in supporting a data-aware culture in the academic environment.
The Department of Statistics, FMIPA Universitas Hasanuddin welcomed this visit as a form of ongoing synergy with BPS.
