Ocean Engineering Magister program Participates in Management Review Meeting on Internal Quality Audit Results

Gowa — Representatives of the Ocean Engineering Magister Program, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Hasanuddin, participated in the Management Review Meeting (Rapat Tinjauan Manajemen – RTM) held on Thursday, 12 March 2026 at the Exhibition Hall, Ground Floor, COT Building, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Hasanuddin. The meeting served as an important forum to evaluate and strengthen the faculty’s academic quality assurance system.  The meeting was attended by the faculty leadership, including the vice deans, heads of departments, secretaries of the Quality Assurance and Performance Monitoring Group (GPMPR), coordinators of Master’s, Doctoral, and Professional programs, as well as representatives of study program quality assurance units within the Faculty of Engineering..

The main agenda of the meeting was the management review of the results of the 2025 Internal Quality Audit (AMI) for study programs within the Faculty of Engineering. During the session, each department reviewed audit findings, evaluated academic performance indicators, and discussed follow-up actions needed to improve the implementation of quality standards in education, research, and community engagement.

For the Ocean Engineering Department, the meeting provided an opportunity to reflect on the effectiveness of academic governance and the implementation of quality assurance mechanisms. The insights obtained from the audit review are expected to support the development of strategic improvements in curriculum design, research productivity, and educational management within the department.

The Management Review Meeting highlights the Faculty of Engineering’s commitment to maintaining continuous quality improvement through systematic evaluation and institutional coordination. Through this process, departments and study programs are encouraged to strengthen academic excellence and enhance their competitiveness in the national and international higher education landscape.
