Public Administration Study Program of Universitas Bosowa Conducts Benchmarking to FISIP Unhas, Strengthening Academic Governance
Makassar — The Public Administration Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Universitas Bosowa, conducted a benchmarking visit to the Department of Administrative Sciences, FISIP, Universitas Hasanuddin (Unhas). This activity served as a space to share experiences in strengthening academic governance and quality assurance to enhance the study program's competitiveness.
The visit, which took place on May 29, 2026, carried the theme "Transformation of Academic Governance and Internal Quality Assurance with Global Competitiveness."
The Universitas Bosowa delegation was led by the Head of the Public Administration Study Program of FISIP Universitas Bosowa, Dr. Ade Ferry Afrisal, S.H., M.Sc. The delegation was received by the Secretary of the Department of Administrative Sciences of FISIP Unhas, Dr. Muh. Tang Abdullah, S.Sos., M.AP., along with Public Administration lecturers of FISIP Unhas, Nuralamsyah Ismail and Rizal Pauzi.
During the meeting, the two institutions exchanged experiences regarding higher education management, particularly study program governance, academic systems, internal quality assurance, and strategies to improve the quality of Public Administration education.
The benchmarking also provided an opportunity to explore best practices in study program management. The discussion was directed toward developing adaptive academic governance, strengthening a culture of quality, and implementing quality assurance systems consistently and sustainably.
The meeting simultaneously served as a momentum to strengthen institutional networking between the Public Administration Study Program of FISIP Universitas Bosowa and the Department of Administrative Sciences of FISIP Unhas. It is hoped that the collaboration between the two institutions can be developed in the fields of education, research, community service, as well as capacity building for lecturers and students.
The activity concluded with the handover of souvenirs as a symbol of institutional relations and a commitment to expanding academic cooperation in the future.
