Archaeology Undergraduate Programme Reports Performance Achievements for the Second Quarter of 2026
Makassar, 11 August 2026 – The Archaeology Programme of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences at Hasanuddin University actively participated in the meeting to evaluate performance achievements for the second quarter of 2026, held in the Senate Meeting Room on the second floor of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences.
The meeting, chaired by the Dean of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Prof. Dr. Andi Muhammad Akhmar, S.S., M.Hum., was attended by the faculty leadership, department heads and secretaries, as well as the coordinators of the undergraduate, master’s and doctoral programmes. The main agenda was the evaluation of academic, research and community service performance within the faculty.
On this occasion, the Archaeology Programme presented a performance report covering key indicators, including:
- The number of international publications involving collaboration with overseas partners.
- Lecturers’ participation in international conferences.
- Inbound and outbound student mobility with overseas partner universities.
- Strengthening academic reputation through Scopus citations and peer reviewer networks.
In addition, the Archaeology Programme also highlighted students’ achievements regarding their duration of study and the number of students participating in activities outside the programme through BRIN research placements at the Bumiayu Field Laboratory (KSL) and the Integrated Indonesian Archaeological Research project in Sangiran, Central Java.
The Head of the Archaeology Programme emphasised that this performance report forms part of the programme’s commitment to maintaining academic quality and strengthening Hasanuddin University’s position at both national and international levels. “We are continually striving to improve the quality of research, publications and academic mobility so that the Archaeology Programme becomes increasingly recognised as a centre of excellence for cultural and historical studies,” he said.
