Department of Archaeology FIB Unhas Holds Coordination Meeting with KAISAR President

Makassar, October 30, 2025 - The Department of Archaeology, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Hasanuddin University held a Coordination Meeting with the President of KAISAR (Archaeology Student Family), located in the Meeting Room of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences Unhas. This activity took place from 15.30 to 17.00 WITA and was led directly by the Head of the Department of Archaeology, Dr. Yadi Mulyadi, M.A.

This meeting is part of the agenda to strengthen the synergy between the leadership elements of the department and student organizations in supporting academic governance, student activities, as well as digital capacity building and publications. The KAISAR President was officially invited to submit activity reports, program plans, and strategic input from students.

During the meeting, the Head of the Department delivered a number of policy updates and the direction of the department's development, including the strengthening of information systems, website management, and the integration of student activities in the Department of Archaeology's digital platform. Also present at this meeting was a lecturer of the Department of Archaeology, Dr. Supriadi, S.S., M.A who as a student had served as Chair of the Archaeology Student Association. In addition, Andi Muhammad Syaiful, S.S., M.A, lecturer of student affairs advisor of Archaeology Study Program was also present.The discussion was constructive, focusing on collaborative work programs, involving students in academic and public activities, and strengthening institutional identity.

This meeting was also forwarded to the Dean of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences and the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Alumni as a form of transparency and cross-structural coordination. The activity was closed with a joint commitment to continue to build open, participatory, and progress-oriented communication with the Department of Archaeology collectively.
