Socialization of the Integrity Zone at FIB Unhas: Commitment to WBK and WBBM

Makassar, November 5, 2025 — The Faculty of Cultural Sciences at Hasanuddin University held an event to promote the Integrity Zone (ZI) Towards a Corruption-Free Zone (WBK) and a Clean and Serving Bureaucracy Zone (WBBM) on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at the Prof. Mattulada Hall, FIB Unhas Tamalanrea Campus.

The event was attended by faculty leaders, program chairs and secretaries, the GPM-PR team, educational staff, lecturers, and student representatives from all study programs. Also present were all members of the FIB Unhas Integrity Zone Team, who are the driving force behind the transformation of bureaucratic governance within the faculty.

The Presence of the Archaeology Study Program

Representatives from the Archaeology undergraduate program attended in person alongside the Head of the Program, while a number of Archaeology lecturers joined online via the Zoom platform. Their presence reflects the Archaeology Program's active commitment to supporting the integrity and bureaucratic reform movement in the academic environment.

Series of Activities

The event was opened by the Secretary of GPMPR as the Master of Ceremony, followed by a speech and official opening by Prof. Dr. Andi Muhammad Akhmar, S.S., M.Hum., Dean of the Faculty of Cultural Sciences. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of integrity as the foundation of clean, transparent public service oriented towards the satisfaction of the academic community.

The main session was filled by the ZI and WBBM FIB Unhas Team, in this case the Chair of GPMPR FIB Unhas and the ZI Unhas team, who presented strategies, achievements, and work plans towards the WBK and WBBM titles. An interactive discussion took place after the presentation session, where participants asked questions, provided input, and expressed their commitment to supporting the bureaucratic reform movement at the faculty level.

Joint Commitment

This activity is an important moment to strengthen synergy between work units and build a culture of integrity. The Faculty of Cultural Sciences at Unhas affirms its readiness to be a pioneer of change, by promoting the principles of accountability, efficiency, and excellent service.
