Chinese Language and Culture Study Program Strengthens Alumni Data Management and Supports KPI Achievement through the 2025 Tracer Study

On Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM WITA, the 2025 Tracer Study was held at the Unhas Hotel and attended by all faculties within Hasanuddin University, including the Faculty of Cultural Sciences. This activity aimed to strengthen coordination between units and ensure optimal tracer study implementation in each faculty.

During the event, the University Tracer Study committee presented strategies and updated reporting mechanisms that are expected to increase graduate response rates and support the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) at both the faculty and university levels. The active participation of all faculties is expected to be a crucial step in strengthening the quality of alumni data and improving the quality of study program management.

The Mandarin Language and Chinese Culture (BMKT) Study Program, Faculty of Humanities, Hasanuddin University, participated in the 2025 Tracer Study. Representatives from the BMKT Study Program attended a presentation on strategies to improve the effectiveness of alumni data collection, including optimizing the reporting system and techniques for increasing graduate response rates.

In this year's activity, the BMKT Study Program collected data from 34 alumni, as part of an effort to strengthen the alumni database with greater accuracy and comprehensiveness. This data collection is also expected to increase the study program's contribution to achieving the KPI targets at the faculty and university levels. The target response rate for the BMKT study program tracer study was achieved at 100% with a KPI of 86.47%, which means that the achievements of BMKT study program graduates are categorized as successful according to the standards of the Ministry of Higher Education and Science and Technology.

Through active participation in this activity, the Mandarin Language and Chinese Culture Study Program hopes to improve the quality of alumni data management and strengthen the study program's contribution to achieving institutional targets. At the closing of the activity, the Director of Alumni Relations at Hasanuddin University expressed his gratitude to the Tracer Study Committee and the Tracer Study Representatives of each study program for their dedication and hard work during the 2025 Tracer Study process. The Director of Alumni Relations expressed his hope that this tracer process would continue to run smoothly and achieve the expected Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets.
