HIMAPAVET
The Veterinary Paramedic Student Association (HIMAPAVET) of Hasanuddin University is an internal campus organization that serves as the primary hub for Veterinary Paramedic students under the Vocational School to develop integrity, intellectuality, and professional skills in animal health. Focused on technical veterinary medical expertise, HIMAPAVET actively bridges academic needs with practical field mastery—ranging from livestock health management and surgical assistance to companion animal care—all grounded in the principles of animal welfare. Through initiatives such as educational seminars, clinical training, and community service, the association is committed to producing competent and ethical paramedics ready to collaborate with veterinarians in supporting food sovereignty and public veterinary health in Indonesia, particularly within South Sulawesi.

The Veterinary Paramedic Student Association (HIMAPAVET) of Hasanuddin University functions as a center for developing student character and soft skills to ensure high competitiveness. Through its organizational structure, members are actively involved in activity management, expanding professional networks, and deepening their understanding of professional ethics, which are crucial for high-quality veterinary medical services. Furthermore, HIMAPAVET serves as a driving force for tangible action through social initiatives and education regarding zoonoses and environmental health.
