Field Assessment for the Accreditation of the Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Geophysics
Makassar, 12–13 February 2026 – The Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Geophysics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Hasanuddin University, has conducted an on-site accreditation assessment as part of the process of evaluating the academic and institutional quality of the programme.
The activity took place over two days, from 12 to 13 February 2025, involving a team of assessors who conducted a direct review of various aspects of the programme’s educational delivery, research, community service, and governance.
This on-site assessment is a crucial stage in the accreditation process, aimed at evaluating the alignment between the prepared accreditation documents and the actual conditions on the ground. The assessment process covers facilities and infrastructure, the curriculum, the quality of human resources, student learning outcomes, and the internal quality assurance system.
Through this activity, the Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Geophysics at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Hasanuddin University demonstrates its commitment to maintaining and enhancing the quality of higher education that is excellent, adaptive, and competitive.
It is hoped that the results of this on-site assessment will provide constructive input for the future development of the programme and support the achievement of the highest possible accreditation for the Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Geophysics at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Hasanuddin University.
