Universitas Hasanuddin 2+2 Program Students Showcase Indonesian Culture at the 2026 New Year Gala of Nanchang Hangkong University

On the evening of December 30, 2025, the 2026 New Year Gala (2026年迎新晚会) organized by the International Education College of Nanchang Hangkong University was successfully held at the university concert hall. Faculty members and students from partner universities gathered to celebrate the arrival of the New Year.
During the gala, an Indonesian traditional dance and song performance titled “美美与共,天下大同”, presented by students from the Universitas Hasanuddin (Unhas) 2+2 Program, became the highlight of the evening.
The performance opened with the Acehnese traditional dance Tari Ratoh Jaroe, performed by 12 Indonesian students wearing traditional costumes. Their synchronized and energetic movements vividly reflected a festive atmosphere filled with togetherness and harmony.
The program continued with the Papuan folk song “Yamko Rambe Yamko,” performed collectively by 25 Indonesian students from the Unhas 2+2 Program. The lively and enthusiastic performance created a warm and vibrant atmosphere on stage and received enthusiastic applause from the audience.
Through this cultural presentation, the students not only showcased the richness of Indonesian traditional arts but also conveyed a meaningful message of harmony in diversity and peaceful coexistence among cultures.
The participation of Universitas Hasanuddin 2+2 Program students in the 2026 New Year Gala reflects the institution’s commitment to promoting international cultural exchange and strengthening cooperation with partner universities. The event also highlights the positive outcomes of international education and the active role of students in fostering an inclusive and globally oriented campus environment.
