Veterinary Paramedic Student Wins Consolation Prize at the OLIVIA Competition Held at Hasanuddin University

The Faculty of Vocational Studies, Hasanuddin University, through the Veterinary Paramedic Study Program, achieved a proud accomplishment at the national level by winning Second Consolation Prize at the 9th Indonesian Vocational Olympiad (OLIVIA IX), held at Hasanuddin University, Makassar, on July 18–19, 2024.

As part of the implementation of the 9th OLIVIA, and as Hasanuddin University’s contribution to encouraging the competitiveness of vocational students through creativity and innovation, OLIVIA carried the theme “Inspiring the Future Through Empowering Innovative Human Resources and Digital-Based Entrepreneurship.” This theme aimed to gather creative and innovative ideas supported by innovative human resources with a digital-based entrepreneurial spirit.

Three Veterinary Paramedic students participated in the Handling and Restraint Design (HARD) competition with a project entitled “Smart Shed for Goat Welfare.” The students were Aditya Maulana Abdullah, Masyhudul Haq, and Rifkah Kurnia Sukardi, under the supervision of drh. Raymond A. J. Tumanduk, M.Biomed.
